4. Quotes and Proposals

Quotes may be subject to change if:

  • The property condition, access, or layout differs from the information provided
  • Additional rooms, areas, furniture, décor, labour, transport, or installation are required
  • Supplier or hire costs change
  • The timeline is shortened or extended
  • Additional site visits, revisions, or coordination are requested
A quote is not confirmed until accepted in writing and any required deposit or booking fee has been paid.
5. Payments
Payment terms will be set out in your invoice, quote, or proposal.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
  • Deposits or booking fees are required to secure your project date
  • Final payment must be made before installation, styling, delivery, or commencement of services
  • Late payments may result in delays, suspension of services, cancellation of bookings, or recovery of outstanding amounts
  • Any bank fees, payment processing fees, or dishonour fees may be passed on to the client where applicable
All prices are stated in Australian dollars. Prices may be inclusive or exclusive of GST depending on the wording of the quote or invoice.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.
Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply where:
  • Work has already commenced
  • Stock, furniture, décor, trades, transport, or suppliers have been booked
  • We have reserved dates and declined other work
  • A project is cancelled within a short timeframe before installation or consultation
  • External hire, delivery, or supplier fees have already been incurred
Deposits, booking fees, consultation fees, sourcing fees, and administrative fees may be non-refundable where work has already been undertaken or dates have been secured.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to circumstances beyond our control, including illness, unsafe site conditions, weather events, supplier delays, vehicle issues, access issues, or other operational disruptions.
7. Property Styling and Hire Items
Where furniture, décor, artwork, linen, rugs, plants, accessories, or styling items are supplied, hired, or coordinated for a project, those items remain the property of the relevant owner, hire company, supplier, or [Business Name].
You agree to ensure that all styling and hire items are:
  • Kept clean, safe, and secure
  • Not used for personal living unless agreed in writing
  • Not moved, removed, altered, or relocated without permission
  • Not exposed to pets, smoking, food damage, water damage, excessive sunlight, weather, mould, or misuse
  • Returned in the same condition as supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear
You may be responsible for replacement, repair, cleaning, or damage costs where items are lost, stolen, damaged, marked, broken, misused, or not returned.
8. Site Access and Property Readiness
You are responsible for ensuring that the property is ready for our services before the agreed date.
This may include:
  • Providing clear access to the property
  • Ensuring lifts, stairs, parking, loading zones, or keys are available
  • Removing unwanted furniture or personal belongings where required
  • Ensuring the property is clean and safe
  • Completing repairs, painting, gardening, cleaning, electrical work, pest control, or trade work before installation
  • Notifying us of access limitations, building rules, body corporate requirements, pets, hazards, or restricted areas
If a property is not ready, additional fees may apply for delays, waiting time, extra labour, rescheduling, storage, re-delivery, or additional site visits.
9. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and timely information, including property details, floor plans, access instructions, photographs, deadlines, agent details, campaign dates, and any relevant restrictions.
You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for the project, including approvals from property owners, tenants, agents, building managers, body corporate representatives, or other relevant parties.
We are not responsible for delays, additional costs, or reduced outcomes caused by incomplete information, restricted access, late approvals, or changes requested by you or third parties.
10. Third-Party Suppliers
We may recommend, coordinate, or engage third-party suppliers such as furniture hire companies, removalists, delivery teams, cleaners, trades, photographers, florists, gardeners, or other service providers.
Unless otherwise stated, third-party suppliers operate independently and are responsible for their own work, pricing, availability, terms, insurance, and performance.
We are not liable for loss, delay, damage, or additional costs caused by third-party suppliers, except where required by law.
11. Styling Outcomes
We aim to provide professional, considered, and commercially appropriate styling recommendations and services. However, we do not guarantee:
  • A specific sale price
  • A specific buyer response
  • A specific number of enquiries
  • A faster sale
  • A particular valuation outcome
  • That every item requested will be available
  • That the final result will exactly match inspiration images, mood boards, or reference images
Styling outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control, including property condition, market conditions, pricing strategy, photography, agent performance, buyer preferences, location, seasonality, and campaign strategy.
12. Intellectual Property
